IJOY Captain X3 Kit Settings - Vape Guide

How to set the Captain X3 TCR? 

In the main menu, switch to "TCR" mode indication, press fire button to confirm. Press fire button to choose between TCR M1, TCR M2. Press right/left buttons to select certain parameter. After setup is completed, press fire button to switch to "EXIT". Press right or left button to confirm.

Puff counter

In any mode, the screen shows the number of puffs. If a puff more than 0.8s, it will be recorded as one puff. The device can remember the value even if you remove the battery. The default number is "000". When the number reaches "999”; it will be cleared automatically.

How to clear the puff value manually? 

Press the fire button 3 times in 2s to enter the menu,
Choose  icon to enter the "”setting, press fire button to confirm your choice.

Set the standby mode 

Press the fire button 3 times in 2s to enter the menu,
choose   icon, use+ and - button to choose “Screen Time” area, there are 4 preset choices, press fire button to confirm your choice, the screen will enter standby mode at the selected time.

Upgrade operation

After the computer connected with the device, open the upgrade software on the computer, click the Load File button,
Find the upgrade program on your computer and load it. Upgrade software and firmware are in a same compressed package, every upgrade! program has a unique PID number, enter the corresponding product PID number and then click the Start button to upgrade.

After upgrading, unplug the USB data cable, install the battery and turn on, now you can experience the latest firmware version. (details please check the documentation after download the upgrade package)

How to charge by USB?

When the voltage is lower than 3.3V, the display will show "Low Battery”; then you need to charge the device, please connect the device through the USB cable to the computer or power adapter.
1. in the charging process, the red light is bright, full power will go out
2. in the charging process, the battery voltage is lower than 3.2V, the device is turned off.
3. can not vape during charging
(If the device not be used for a long time, please charge every 30 to 60 days to make sure battery life)

Malfunction

Indication and Protection

PCB temperature overheat protection When the temperature of device is too high, the output will shut off automatically and the screen will display "PCBTOO HOT"

Low power alert: 

When battery voltage is below 3.2V, the device shows" LOW BATTERY"

PCB Atomizer short-circuit protection: 

When atomizer short-circuit occurs, the OLEO screen will display "SHORTED"

No Atomizer: 

when no atomizer connect, the device will display "No atomizer"

Low resistance protection: 

When the resistance is lower than 0.06ohm, the OLED screen will display "OHMS TOO LOW".


When the resistance is higher than 3ohm, the OLED screen will display "OHMS TOO HIGH".

Warnings

1. Please read the manual carefully before use
2. Please do not keep the e-juice inside the atomizer if the device is not going to be used for a long period
3. Please take out of the battery from device when it's not used for a long time

ELITE PS2170 Operation Instruction: 

Power On/off

Press the fire button 5 times m quick succession to turn the d, on and off. After switch on, OLED display PS 2170 logo and software version number at stand by mode.

(Note:
Please adjust the wattage to a proper range to match the atomizer you used before using.

Vaping 

While the device is power on, just keep pressing the fire button to vape
(Firing timeout: 10 Seconds)
While the device is power on, the OLED screen default display VW Mode.

General Functions 

Enter Into The Main Menu
Press the fire button 3 times to enter into the main menu. Press the right and left regulatory buttons to switch among different functions. Press the fire button to confirm.

Power Mode 

In the main menu, switch to"  "setting, press f ire button to confirm Press right and left buttons to adjust the wattage.

Intensity Setting In Power Mode
In the main menu, switch to intensity setting, press fire button to confirm Press right and left buttons to switch among below4 modes. In user mode, press fire button to switch among each setting columns. Press right and left buttons to adjust the wattage After setup is completed, press fire button to switch to "EXIT". Press right or left button to confirm.

Norm Mode: Maintains the currently set power.
Hard Mode: 30% higher than the currently set power.
Soft Mode: 20% lower than the currently set power.
User Mode: Customize the power output for the first three seconds of each puff, with each setting column representing half a second.

Temp Mode 

Ni/Ti /SS/TCRM1/TCRM2
In the main menu, switch to ”T" setting, press fire button to confirm. Press right and left buttons to switch among Ni/Ti/SS/Ml/M2 modes. Press fire button to confirm. Press right button, when "W" flashing, press right and left buttons to adjust wattage. Press left button, when"°F" or"℃"flashing, press right and left buttons to adjust temperature value.
The temperature unit will cycle between ° F and °C when the minimum or maximum temperature is reached.

Tank Features

Filling

Squeeze the ejuice bottle inside of the mod to fill the tank.

Coil installation

1. Unscrew and remove the top chamber.
2. Unscrew and remove the mounting screw.
3. Remove the used ARC coil by lifting over the metal pin.
4. Place a new coil over the metal pin, make sure the coil edge is lined up with the tank.

5. Screw the mounting screw back onto the base hardware.
6. Replace the top chamber.
NB: the mounting screw also acts as a ‘spit-back’ guard.

Replacing glass

1. Unscrew and remove the glass securing ring from the base hardware.
2. Pull and remove the used glass tube.
3. Insert a new glass tube.
4. Screw the glass securing ring back onto the base hardware.

Safety features

• Automatic cutoff: The continuous fire time is 10 seconds, after 10 seconds of continuous firing the mod will stop firing and the LED light under the fire button will flash 10 times.
• Battery reverse protection

Short circuit protection: When the mod detects a short, the LED light will flash 2 or 3 times.

Over discharge protection: When the battery level is below 3.2V, pressing the fire button the orange light will flash 15 times.
Over heat protection: When the temperature of the control board is above 75 degree Celsius, the mod will shut off and the LED light will light up blue and orange for 3 seconds.

Operating instructions

Installing an 18650 battery into the mod, the LED light will flash blue and orange 2 times.

When the battery level is above 3.8V, the LED light will be blue only, when the battery level is between 3.5V and 3.8V, the light will be a mixed color of blue and orange; the orange light means the battery level is below 3.5V


Click the fire button 5 times rapidly to lock or unlock the device the LED light will flash blue and orange 3 times to indicate lock or unlock. When the mod is unlocked, pressing the fire button the blue or orange LED light will light up according to the battery level.

Silicone e-juice bottle installation

Lightly push in the bottle securing cap at the bottom of the mod.

Then twist counter-clockwise direction to remove the securing cap.

Insert a new silicone e-juice bottle into the plastic carrier frame, reinsert the frame into the mod then push the knob and twist clockwise direction to secure.

How to fill the Silicone e-juice bottle?

1. Unscrew and remove the metal cap at the top of the bottle.
2. Add your preferred e-juice into the bottle.
3. Replace metal cap.

Battery installation

1. Invert the Feedlink mod and unscrew the battery cap.
2. Insert an 18650 battery into the battery compartment with positive end pointing down and negative end pointing up.
3. Screw the battery cap back onto the mod.
